The Giorgio Pardi Foundation 2011 President's Presenter Awards

The Giorgio Pardi Foundation (FGP) President's Presenters Awards will recognize the three best abstracts (either poster or oral presentations) in the field of fetal medicine and placental function presented by a senior researcher and by two junior researchers still in training. The scope of the awards is to recognize their effort and to support further research in this field.

The awards have been generously funded by the Giorgio Pardi Foundation. A committee will select the presentations dedicated to this topic. Each awardee will receive a plaque and a check.

The senior researcher will receive a check for $5,000 USD; each of the two junior researchers will receive a check for $2,000 USD. The Giorgio Pardi Foundation will also award 5 young, worthy investigators from Italian Universities with a $1,000 USD "Giorgio Pardi Travel Award" to assist with their travel to the SGI 2011 58th Annual Meeting.

The Giorgio Pardi Foundation will recognize the "Special Giorgio Pardi Award 2011" for the best abstract (either poster or oral presentation) on the topic "The Fetus of Today is the Adult of Tomorrow". The Awardee will receive a check in the amount of $2,000 USD.
In-Training Attendees: The In-Training category includes:  Undergraduate students, Graduate students, Medical and Health Profession students, Residents, Fellows-in-training and individuals in post-doctorate training.  These individuals do not currently hold or have not held a faculty position or equivalent.  A signed letter on official letterhead from a program director is required and you must present a photo I.D. at the registration desk.  Registration forms without support letters, will be returned.
