Benefits of SGI Membership
SGI membership offers great benefit to both scientists and clinicians involved in reproductive science. The SGI represents the foremost investigative society in the world with a focus on women’s reproduction and reproductive health. Among the more than 1200 members of the Society, over 34 countries are represented. Membership in the SGI provides the opportunity to interact and exchange scientific advances and information with the most highly regarded reproductive scientists in the world. The Society holds an international annual meeting, in which the latest findings in molecular medicine, translational science, and clinical investigation related to reproduction and reproductive health are presented and discussed. The Society also supports satellite meetings throughout the world which focus on select topics of interest to reproductive scientists. Membership in the Society includes a subscription to the highly respected monthly journal “Reproductive Sciences”.
In addition to the promotion of reproductive science investigation, the SGI is committed to the training and development of young investigators. The SGI sponsors fellowship programs for PhD and MD fellows and young faculty, as well as travel and presentation awards for members in training. The SGI membership also provides a voice representing reproductive science to additional societies (e.g., FASEB) and governmental agencies within the United States and throughout the world.
